Gardening

Since we moved in 2 months ago, Ryder and I have made some progress making a little garden in our backyard. There's a 2 foot strip across the back that I dug up to make a trail run at a few vegetables and herbs. First, there was the digging...

Thankfully, there were some leftover flat pieces of rock (shale I think) that they used on the walkways around the house. They'd been forgotten about in the front yard, so we moved them to the back to serve as a little garden barrier.

Originally, we made some little raised beds for the seeds...

Do you have a superhero gardener? I do.

But eventually, those got pulled up and we just went flat across instead...

Ryder also got a little sandbox/dirtbox for his own projects (above), and helps water the palm in the front.

In 2 terra cotta pots, we have some herbs starting to sprout. On the left, rosemary, with Sage next door.

And some basil starting to peek out at the world.
